Who We Are
Inspired by the remarkable teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha, Padmasambhava, Yeshe Tsogyal and through the centuries Longchen Rabjam and Jigme Lingpa, Samden Ling is honored to offer excellent teachings and meditations from these renowned masters.
Practices are imbued with the compassionate wish to free all sentient beings from suffering and the causes of suffering.
Wisdom teachings of the Omniscient Longchen Rabjam (Longchenpa)
and Awareness Holder, Jigme Lingpa have been handed down generations
in T.bet and now the world. Guidance in the practices of the Longchen Nyingthig Lineage and Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse are presented.
The initial training for Samden Ling, under the umbrella of Dzogchen Nyingthig, begins with the consolidated practices known as Ngndro, consisting of prayers, meditations, visualizations and mantra. Ngndro is what initiates the blessings of the Longchen Nyingthig Lineage to each practitioner.
Samden Ling has the privilege to bring this time-honored lineage to contemporary times.
Dedicated to the Non-Sectarian, Rime’ approach of T.betan Buddhism, Founded in 2000 under the supreme lineage guidance with a culture of respect for all.

Lama Jacqueline Mandell
Lama Jacqueline Mandell is A Founding Teacher of Samden Ling. She was fortunate to have met A.dzom P.aylo Rinpoche in 1996 at Samye Chimpu, Tibet during a pilgrimage following in the footsteps of Padmasambhava, Yeshe Tsogyal, Longchen Rabjam and Jigme Lingpa. Jacqueline began training with Adzom Rinpoche on the very day she met him during Sagadawa, the month honoring the Buddha’s Enlightenment. Prior to that time, she was a student of Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche.
On December 25, 2003, while offering teachings on ‘The Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse’ to a large audience, A.dzom Rinpoche formally authorized Jacqueline to teach the Longchen Nyingthig Ngondro.
Previously, in 1971 Jacqueline had traveled to India where she began Buddhist Meditation practice in Bodh Gaya with S.N. Goenka. She received several notable authorizations to teach the Mindfulness/ Vipassana systems of Buddhism from Venerable Mahasi Sayadaw and Venerable Taungpulu Sayadaw of Burma. She has taught Buddhist Meditation globally since 1976.
Margaret first met Adzom Rinpoche in 1999 during public talks hosted by Lama Jacqueline Mandell. She knew immediately that she had met her root lama and followed him to Tara Mandala in Colorado to receive Green Tara and Guru Rinpoche empowerments.
She began semtri with him that same year and was authorized to teach in 2003.
Margaret began her Buddhist training in 1979 and has also studied under Chagdud Rinpoche.

Dzogchen Nyingthig: The umbrella for global sanghas established by Gyurme Thubten Gyatso (an incarnation of Jigme Lingpa and Vimalamitra) for the purpose of Holding the Transmission of the teachings and practices of his lineages.
Gyurme Thubten Gyatso
Adzom Rinpoche is invited to teach in all orders of Tibetan Buddhist Traditions and also Bon. He is Non-Sectarian (Rime) and holds practice lineages of both Dzogchen and Mahamudra. He is a highly realized Master and regarded as incarnation of Jigme Lingpa.and of other great masters as well, including Pema Wangyal, son of the great Adzom Drukpa, known as Drodul Pawo Dorje (Tamer of Beings).
Adzom Gyalse Rinpoche
Adzom Gyalse Rinpoche is recognized as the reincarnation of a great meditation master and son of Adzom Drukpa. Beginning at the age of 8, he entered monastic life and studied with revered Dzogchen Masters such as HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.
He resides and teaches at Shechen Monastery in Nepal. He began teaching world-wide in 2014. He is a lineage holder for the ancient and expansive Dzogchen teachings of the Longchen Nyingthig. More info about Rinpoche can be found at: http://adzomgyalsetulku.com/en/
Anne Klein/Rigzin Drolma
Anne Carolyn Klein, Ph.D / Lama Rigzin Drolma is Professor of Religion at Rice University and co-founding director and resident teacher at Dawn Mountain Tibetan Buddhist Center in Houston, Texas. Since 1971 she has studied and translated in the Tibetan Geluk, Bon and Nyingma traditions. Her dharma teaching centers mainly on the Longchen Nyingthig and related transmissions. She met Adzom Rinpoche in 1996 and In 2009 he named her a Dorje Lopon. Dr. Anne Carolyn Klein is the author of ‘Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse
