Four Thoughts that Turn the Mind Class  originally scheduled for  Saturday February 8, 2014, will take place February 12th Wednesday Evening 7:00pm-8:30pm

Taught by Samden Ling Teachers: Margaret Cormier and Jacqueline Mandell

First Congregational Church ‘Kiva Room’ 1126 SW Park Ave. Portland OR 97205. All levels welcome. Suggested Donation: $15.  No one turned away due to lack of funds.

Meditation Guidance, Contemplation, Sitting and Walking Meditation. The Four Thoughts are considered an entryway to compassion.

In Traditional Tibetan Buddhist practices one opens each session with the transformational turning the mind to wisdom- dharma via the four thoughts contemplation.  As part of the Longchen Nyingthig Tradition, the four thoughts are incorporated into the foundational practices known as ngndro.
