Samden Ling is dedicated to the: Longchen Nyingthig: Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Practitioners follow the profound teachings and exquisite practices of Longchen Rabjam and Jigme Lingpa. In this Rime (Non Sectarian) Tradition, all interested are welcome to participate.
Samden Ling’s practice center focuses on the Longchen Nyingthig, Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse, and on Adzom Drukpa’s revealed cycle, Secret Treasure of the Luminous Vajra, considered a “child” of this lineage.
Lama Jacqueline Mandell
Lama Jacqueline Mandell is A Founding Teacher of Samden Ling. She was fortunate to have met The Terton, Orgyen Khakhyab Lingpa in 1996 at Samye Chimpu, Tibet during a pilgrimage following in the footsteps of Padmasambhava, Yeshe Tsogyal, Longchen Rabjam and Jigme Lingpa. Jacqueline began training with The Terton, Orgyen Khakhyab Lingpa on the very day she met him during Sagadawa, the month honoring the Buddha’s Enlightenment. Prior to that time, she was a student of Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche.
On December 25, 2003, while offering teachings on ‘The Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse’ to a large audience, The Terton, Orgyen Khakhyab Lingpa formally authorized Jacqueline to teach the Longchen Nyingthig Ngondro.
