Dear Subscribers,
Anne Carolyn Klein will be giving two lectures open to the general public during her visit to Portland in February. If you cannot come to the weekend retreat on February 6-7, then perhaps you can catch one of her lectures.
The first is “Open Heart, Open Mind” on Friday, February 5 and hosted by Maitripa College, 1119 SE Market St., (cross street SE 11th; 3 blocks south of Hawthorne). Suggested donation: $20.00 at the door.
The second is “Ways of Knowing: Contemplation, Culture, and Community in Tibet”. This talk is on Monday, February 8, and is hosted by Portland State University. It is offered at the Smith Memorial Student Union, 1825 SW Broadway Street, Room 338. This event is free of charge.
We hope to see you there!
